Class Schedule
Below is the tentative class schedule. All classes listed in the main room are Intermediate-Advanced; all classes held in Room 305 are Beginning - Intermediate. However room assignments may change at event-time, so please check the schedule on the bulletin board.
Instructors may suggest that some dancers move from Beg/Int to Int/Adv in order to acheive better gender balance and room utilization.

| 11:30 - 12:30 | Stryder - Blues for Dummies Of course you're not a dummy, but you'd be silly to miss this intro class. We'll be going over the whats, whys, and hows of blues music in this introductory class to get you up on the floor and dancing to some rocking blues music. |

| 12:40 - 1:40 | Mike L. and Jeff - Intro to Connection and Transitions A beginner intro-level class to teach connection in open, closed, or close-closed positions, as well as interesting transitions between them. |
Michael and Jaya - Inter/Adv Rhythms and Riffs Similar to the Beginner/Intermediate class with the same name, this class will deviate further from the norm in an effort to study more complex and intricate rhythmic possibilities for use in social blues dancing. |

| 2:40 - 3:40 | Michael and Jaya - Beg/Inter Rhythms and Riffs This class will focus on a few core footwork and movement patterns, both repetitive and improvised, that take you through a range of movement that is designed to get you through a night of social dancing with a solid grounding and the confidence to explore rhythmic variation. |
Stryder - Like Fred Astair (Ballroomin Blues) No no no, we know he wasn't a blues dancer, and he wasn't even in the rat pack, but the man had moves. In this class, we're going to learn the basics of balroomin' style, movement, and maybe even become a little more graceful in the process! |
| 3:50 - 4:50 | Topher and Lessa - Expressin' the Blues Every song has it's day. No that's not it. The early bird gathers no moss. NO! Getting the expression right makes a big difference, so does expressing the music. We will investigate how movement can embody the blues. |

| 1:00 - 1:55 | Topher and Lessa - Breaking Away Blues was originally a solo dance that evolved into partners using their hot-shit moves together. We will explore both vintage solo movement and its contemporary applications, learning to dance apart and partnered. |
Michael and Mike L. - Fast/Slow/Stop/Go...Boing! How often do you feel a rockstep good enough to make you swoon? And would you know what to do with it if you did? This class will cover a range of movements to toy with speed and timing, and to create a more dynamic dance. |

Michael and Jaya - Int/Adv Shapes, Turns and Stylings Similar to the Beginner/Intermediate class with the same name, this class will focus on a few highly stylized movements, each designed to deeply explore a particular idea in an effort to better investigate one's own dance personality. |

Stryder - Requisite Flash and Weeee! Yea Yea, everyone always wants one, so here it is: Our requisite Trick and Dips class is going to show you some nifty tricks and social dips you can use when you absolutely positively must show off. |
